It's a little Banksy, yes? I am taking it as an encouraging sign. I mean, sure, it's essentially a version of those things people's grandmas used to put over toilet paper rolls. But in this case, it seems completely random and maybe even a little subversive.
It's a step in the right direction, is all I'm saying.

Or maybe there is a growing cult of pole worshipers who think the pole gods will keep sending them light and heat if they are warm. Children of the Poles...yes, that sounds very Chicago-y.
