When Apple came out with its iPad, I have to say I thought of this. What a dumb name. It also sounds like a bad '70s bachelor apartment. On another note, I'm suddenly hungry for Thai food.

Well, the controversy might be a bit overblown. On the other hand, it does sound far worse to my ear than "scouring pad," though I'm not sure why.
